South Staffordshire College is looking to employ an experienced assessor / practitioner to our ever-growing electrical team across all our campuses to engage with our Electrical apprentices on their learning journey, we are looking for a visionary, passionate, innovative, and enthusiastic practitioner to join the department and inspire our Electrical apprentices and develop the future of this sector of industry.
The successful candidate will be a qualified electrician with at least 3 years’ current occupational experience in the electrical trade. A teaching qualification (PGCE or DTTLS), an Assessors qualification (A1 or equivalent) with teaching experience at Level 3 and experience of AM2 and assessing in the workplace is desirable.
Good communication skills, the ability to work as a team and to use your own initiative will be essential to your success as well as a full driving licence and willingness to travel, as you will be frequently off site.

South Staffordshire College is looking to employ a keen, energetic and enthusiastic Arboriculture Lecturer to join our successful Land based team at our Rodbaston campus.
This is to support growth in the area, in addition to delivering and assessing on our range of Arboriculture study programmes and apprenticeships; the successful applicants will also have a focus on the management of learner progress and the development of study programmes, apprenticeships and short courses in their specialist field.
Along with relevant and up to date industrial experience in your specific sector, you must be qualified to level 3 or above in your specialist subject and hold or be willing to complete a teacher training course if required. A suitable range of qualifications in felling and climbing/aerial rescue are also a requirement.
